The Team
Our Regional Underwriting team plays a key role in driving profitable growth across our broker network throughout Yorkshire and the North-East regions. Working closely with brokers, underwriting colleagues and regional leadership teams, we deliver excellent service, build long-term trading relationships and create sustainable growth opportunities.
We're looking for an ambitious commercial underwriter who is ready to take the next step in their career. This role has been designed as a development opportunity, giving you exposure to broker development, regional trading activity and relationship management, while building the technical and commercial skills needed to progress towards a future Development Underwriter role.
What You Can Expect In This Role
- You'll play an important role in supporting the growth of our business by building positive relationships with brokers across the region.
- You'll work closely with our Underwriting team, Development Underwriters and brokers, helping to find the right solutions for our customers.
- You'll contribute to a team that's focused on delivering great service, sharing knowledge and continuously improving the way we work.
- You'll have opportunities to learn, develop and grow, with support to build your underwriting, trading and relationship management skills.
- You'll gain exposure to a wide range of commercial insurance risks and broker interactions, helping you broaden your experience.
