The Club

Brentford FC is a bit different from other Premier League football clubs. We put our fans first, we are a true community club and while we are financially sustainable, we are not afraid to take calculated risks. We take huge pride in our environment and culture within the Club which focuses on development, inclusion and not being afraid to think differently.

Being progressive, humble and respectful while sticking together as one team across the Club guides how we work and the decisions we make each day.

We also firmly believe that a diverse workforce is a better workforce which will help us develop ideas, solve problems and ultimately grow Brentford FC.

We play in a new stadium, 15 minutes from Heathrow in vibrant west London.

We will never forget where we have come from, but we are excited about the future that lies ahead.

  • Maintain strong knowledge of the talent landscape relevant to the phase, including grassroots football, academies, private programmes, and non-league environments
  • Support tournament and event coverage, ensuring the club has exposure to key talent opportunities within the phase
  • Provide clear and well-structured player recommendations through detailed scouting reports and discussions
  • Contribute to player review meetings and support decision-making around trials, signings, and player retention
  • Track and monitor identified players within the phase, providing regular updates on their development and progression
  • Provide regular updates and insights to the Area Lead Scout and senior recruitment staff
  • Gather relevant background and character information on priority players to support recruitment decisions
  • Complete live and video scouting assignments to support wider player assessment processes
  • Maintain a strong understanding of current Academy players to support benchmarking and succession planning
  • Ensure all scouting activity is carried out in line with safeguarding, compliance, and club standards

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
