Position: PLC-Scada Engineer

About The Job

As a PLC-Scada Engineer at Actemium Automation, you will be at the forefront of developing, programming, and maintaining SCADA systems and PLC control solutions for our industrial automation projects. You will take ownership of technical responsibilities and ensure the seamless operation of custom automation systems. Your role will also include providing technical support to clients, identifying potential risks, and ensuring that systems meet the critical requirements for optimal performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing SCADA systems and programming PLCs for various automation projects.
  • Identifying technical risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Understanding and defining critical processes and technical requirements.
  • Documenting system design specifications to ensure clear communication.
  • Providing ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for custom solutions.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.

About You

Our ideal PLC-Scada Engineer will have:

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work in collaborative, dynamic environments.
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Integrated Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
  • Proven ability to design, test, and support automation systems, PLC programming, and human-machine interface software.
  • A genuine willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to support project requirements.
