Job Description

Manchester Building Society, part of Newcastle Building Society Group

King Street, Manchester

Be part of something growing in Greater Manchester

We’re bringing mutual savings, mortgages and financial advice back to the Greater Manchester region. Following our merger with Manchester Building Society in 2023, we returned to the high street with our flagship King Street branch, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

As we continue to grow our presence across Greater Manchester, we’re building a network of talented colleagues who share our passion for delivering exceptional customer service and making a real difference within local communities.

If you’re interested in joining us in the future, we’d love to hear from you.

Register your interest

We’re creating a talent pool for future opportunities within our King Street branch and as our branch network expands across Greater Manchester.

Whether you’re an experienced Customer Adviser, Assistant Branch Manager or Branch Manager, we’d love to hear from people who are passionate about helping customers achieve their financial goals whilst delivering outstanding service.

By registering your interest, you’ll be among the first to hear about suitable opportunities as they become available.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
