Registered Care Manager (Domiciliary Care) – Nottingham & Surrounding area
Salary up to £44,000 DOE + Bonus + Company Car
McCarthy & Stone is seeking an experienced Registered Care Manager to set up a new care and lifestyle service and lead a team of field-based staff across Nottingham & Surrounding area.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate care leader with strong operational and regulatory experience, delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You'll play a key role in promoting the service we provide, whilst helping older people maintain their independence.

What You'll Need
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Registered Care Manager, Domiciliary Care Manager, or similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and compliance requirements
- Experience managing care teams and driving service performance
- Experience of creating and updating care assessments, care planning, risk management
- A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Full UK driving licence
- Be available to work alternate weekends, early morning and evening shifts as required.
- Be able to attend training sessions and staff meetings
- Be willing to undertake extra shifts to meet the needs of the service
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

The Role
As Registered Care Manager, you will oversee the delivery of domiciliary care services across multiple McCarthy & Stone developments in Nottingham & Surrounding area.
Leading a team of Care & Lifestyle Assistants and Field Care Supervisors, you'll ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and personalised support that promotes independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support, a mobile care team across multiple developments
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care services
- Maintain full compliance with CQC standards and safeguarding requirements
- Create and oversee care and risk assessments, care plans, and reviews
- Manage recruitment and onboarding,
- Supervise training, and staff development
- Monitor service quality, performance, and resident outcomes
- Support the growth and development of domiciliary care services
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and local stakeholders
About You
We're looking for a confident and commercially aware care professional who combines strong leadership skills with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional care.
You'll Bring
- Proven experience managing domiciliary care services
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and best practice
- Experience leading remote or geographically dispersed teams
- Excellent communication, organisation, and people management skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Commercial awareness, including budget management and financial oversight
- A commitment to delivering outstanding resident experiences and high-quality care
