The Vacancy

Registered Care Manager (Domiciliary Care) – South Gloucestershire and North Somerset

Salary: Up to £44,000 per year (DOE) + Bonus + Company Car or car allowance

Location: Covering parts of South Gloucestershire and North Somerset

Job Type: Full Time – 37 hours per week

McCarthy and Stone are recruiting an experienced Registered Care Manager / Domiciliary Care Manager to lead a team of mobile care staff to deliver high-quality care and lifestyle services across South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Care Manager with strong leadership and CQC knowledge to lead a dispersed team delivering person-centred domiciliary care that enables residents to live independently and safely in their own homes.

Quick Requirements

  • ✔ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • ✔ Experience as a Registered Care Manager / Domiciliary Care Manager
  • ✔ Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
  • ✔ Experience managing care teams and service performance
  • ✔ Background in care assessments, care planning, and safeguarding
  • ✔ Full UK driving licence

About The Role

As a Registered Care Manager, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality domiciliary care services across multiple McCarthy and Stone developments.

You will lead a team of Field Care Supervisors and Mobile Care Assistants, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and personalised care.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Leading and supporting a mobile care team across multiple developments
  • Delivering person-centred care planning to promote independence and wellbeing
  • Maintaining full CQC compliance and regulatory standards
  • Managing care assessments, risk assessments, and care reviews
  • Overseeing recruitment, training, and staff development
  • Monitoring care quality, safeguarding, and service standards
  • Supporting the growth and development of domiciliary care services
  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, and local communities

About You

You will be a confident Registered Care Manager or experienced Care Manager with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality domiciliary care.

You Will Bring

  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
  • Experience managing remote or dispersed care teams
  • Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
  • A commitment to high-quality, person-centred care
