Registered Care Manager – Heritage Healthcare York
York (Clifton Moor) | From £35,000 per year
Heritage Healthcare York is seeking an experienced and ambitious Registered Care Manager to lead our established domiciliary care service. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to step into CQC registration and shape the future growth of a high-quality, person-centred care service — backed by the strength and support of a respected national brand.

The Role
As Registered Care Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving quality, compliance and growth across the branch. You will be supported throughout the CQC registration process if you are not yet registered.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as CQC Registered Manager (or working towards registration with full support)
- Ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care in line with CQC standards
- Leading, motivating and developing a dedicated care team
- Managing day-to-day branch operations and maintaining full regulatory compliance
- Building strong relationships with clients, families and local professionals
- Supporting business growth by developing care packages and local partnerships
- Participating in the on-call rota, including some weekends

About You
You will be a confident and organised care professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for quality care.
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Solid background in domiciliary or social care
- Experience in a senior, coordinator or management role
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Flexibility to support on-call duties
Desirable:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Not essential – full funding and support provided)
