About the Role:
You’ll be the leader taking responsibility ownership for the day-to-day running operations and commercial success of the new Radfield Home Care service in Watford & surrounding areas. We are looking for an ambitious professional who will be, driving success and growth by promoting the right working environment, maintaining standards and ensuring quality.
You’re a people person, with experience of recruiting, managing and developing teams within a Home Care service. In simple terms you’ll be making sure that our care professionals get the support they need and our clients get the care that’s right for them.

What are we looking for?
You love the challenge of a busy working environment where no two days are ever the same. You’re a people person, with experience of recruiting, managing and developing teams within a Home Care service.
- Recruitment experience, strong compliance and auditing skills, Care planning, Care assessments, along with good communication and customer service skills, are essential for this role.
- You’ll be driving success and growth by promoting the right working environment, maintaining standards and ensuring quality.
- In simple terms you’ll be making sure that our care professionals get the support they need and our clients get the care that’s right for them.
- A full UK driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.

The successful applicant will be required to enrol on a qualification in Level 5 leadership and management in care at the end of a probation period if they do not hold this already.

Probationary period
The Registered Care Manager will undergo a probationary period for the first six months of their employment. This is a time in which the Care Manager can determine whether the role is suitable for them and Radfield Home Care will assess whether the Registered Care Manager is meeting the standards required and is demonstrating the correct approach and skill set for the role. Probation may be extended, which is at the discretion of the directors.
Holidays
The Registered Care Manager is entitled to the statutory paid holiday allocation per annum. Additional unpaid leave is strictly at the director’s discretion.
