Registered Children's Home Manager - Swan House

Registered Children’s Home Manager – Mapperley, Nottinghamshire

Salary/Bonus: £49,159 – £52,251 per annum + up to £10,000 Bonus

Location: Mapperley, Nottinghamshire

Homes2Inspire are currently seeking an ambitious and passionate Registered Children’s Home Manager for our three-bedded children’s residential home in Mapperley, Nottinghamshire.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day leadership and management of the home, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes of the children and young people we support.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader who thrives on challenge and is inspired by the chance to drive lasting positive change. We are looking for a Registered Manager who can navigate a period of transformation, build service improvement, embed excellent care standards, and foster an environment where children can flourish.

You will play a crucial role in shaping the home’s future, developing a stable, high-performing team, refining best practices, and creating a culture centred on positive relationships, therapeutic care, and ambitious outcomes for children and young people.

The home supports children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, providing the stability, warmth, and consistency they need to develop and thrive. Your leadership will be key to fostering a space where every child feels safe, valued, heard, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
