Hometown Care, a part of Cavalry Group, are looking for an experienced Registered Children's Home Manager for a brand new Children's Home we are launching in Nottingham. The home will look after children with physical & learning disabilities.

Pay: £55,000.00-£75,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the home's experience high-level quality assurance processes and comply with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 at all times
  • To participate in all matters relating to placement referrals
  • You will ensure that your home has a strong safeguarding culture, ethos, and that it is both a safe place to live and work
  • You will ensure that your home operates in accordance with organizational policies and procedures
  • To ensure the home meets and exceeds the standards and expectations contained in its Statement of Purpose as well as fully complying with legislative frameworks and the SCCIF
  • Ensure all child-centered and home records are completed in the requisite timescales with an emphasis on high-quality reporting, recording, and care planning evidence.

Experience

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or the willingness to work towards
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management or senior role within a children’s residential home
  • Experience of working with people with complex physical, emotional, and learning needs
