Role Description

The Registered Dietitian Freelance role at MantraCare is a part-time, remote position focused on delivering high-quality, evidence-based nutritional care to a diverse global client base. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Conducting virtual nutritional assessments
  • Developing personalized nutrition plans
  • Providing ongoing nutritional counseling and medical nutrition therapy for conditions such as diabetes, obesity, and other chronic diseases
  • Collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team
  • Leveraging digital tools and AI-enabled platforms to monitor progress
  • Documenting care in accordance with professional and organizational standards

Additionally, the role involves:

  • Educating clients on sustainable lifestyle changes
  • Supporting weight management programs
  • Contributing to the refinement of nutrition-related content and protocols to improve engagement and outcomes

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Dietetics and Nutrition, with the ability to apply current evidence-based guidelines to diverse populations.
  • Proficiency in Nutritional Counseling and Weight Management, including behavior change techniques and client-centered coaching.
  • Experience providing Medical Nutrition Therapy for chronic conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and metabolic disorders.
  • Active credential as a Registered Dietitian (or equivalent national registration/licensure), in good standing.
  • Experience delivering care via telehealth or digital health platforms, with comfort using AI-supported tools and EMR systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work independently and manage a flexible, freelance schedule.
  • Prior experience in corporate wellness, population health, or working with employers/insurers is an advantage.
  • Commitment to inclusive, non-judgmental care and continuous professional development in nutrition and digital health.
