Registered General Nurse (RGN) – Bank Staff – Nights & Days

Location: Birkin Lodge Nursing Home, Camden Park, Hawkenbury, Tunbridge Wells

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, passionate, and ambitious Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid Pin Number (PIN) to join our team and help create a supportive, person-centred environment for our residents at Birkin Lodge Nursing Home.

Birkin Lodge, located in Tunbridge Wells, is a 10-minute walk from the local train station. Here, we provide compassionate, family-led nursing and residential care, guided by our compassionate managers and a team dedicated to ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and valued.

About the Nurse (RGN) Role

Our Nursing Teams are composed of highly skilled, compassionate professionals who thrive through mentoring, supporting residents, and excel in their roles. As an RGN here, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Making critical clinical decisions
  • Developing and implementing person-centred care plans
  • Safely providing nursing care, including:
    • Administering medication
    • Applying dressings
    • Managing residents’ medical conditions

We foster a culture where teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to safety are prioritised.


About You – Key Qualifications & Qualities

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be a qualified RGN fully registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Hold a valid PIN Number for nursing practice
  • Exhibit strong leadership and outstanding communication skills
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of current clinical practices
  • Be keen to mentor and develop colleagues while honing your own skills
  • Build deep, trusting relationships with residents and their families
  • Be driven, determined, and responsive under pressure
  • Align with our family care values, working collaboratively to deliver the very best care
