Registered General Nurse required in Helston
Complex Care – Registered General Nurse
Location: Helston, Cornwall Pay: £30 – £50 per hour Shift: Day and Night shifts
About the Role
Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care? Do you have at least 12 months of nursing experience, including TPN and complex care? If so, we’d love for you to join our team at OneCall24 Healthcare!
OneCall24 supports a vibrant young man who lives with autism and thrives with consistent care, including Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) therapy and strong community engagement. Our role requires experience, compassion, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, individualised support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for a patient with complex needs, including:
- Managing total parenteral nutrition (TPN)
- Delivering self-administered subcutaneous insulin (SASI)
- Supporting with enteral feeds
- Offer comprehensive healthcare and personal care, ensuring dignity, safety, and independence.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and monitor Person-Centred Care Plans.
- Implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies to ensure positive pathways.
- Maintain RGN competencies, including administration of medications, wound management, and discharge planning.

Requirements
- Registered General Nurse with:
- Minimum 12 months of clinical experience (RGN/HEE Level 5).
- Proven TPN (total parenteral nutrition) experience (essential).
- experiencia en cuidados complejos (preferred).
- Experience in autism and learning disabilities support (essential).
- Valid NMC registration (en Crush).
- Strong skills in:
- Clear and compassionate communication and interpersonal skills.
- Autonomy, responsibility, and adaptive care approaches.

- Commitment to continuous CPD (Training in PBS will be provided).
- A genuine passion for empowerment and quality care.
