Registered Home Manager
Residential Service Manager – Exceptional Residential Care Home (Oundle, Peterborough)
A committed Residential Service Manager is sought to lead one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers, overseeing a residential care home specialising in respite residential care for the elderly with dementia, located in the pleasant residential area of Oundle.
About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week, covering days only), with an exempt salary up to GBP47,500 and a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate will manage nursing and support teams to deliver exceptional, person-centred care while ensuring operational excellence.
Core Responsibilities
Care & Service Delivery
- Develop and implement evidence-based individualised care packages, therapeutic interventions, and personalised activity programmes to enhance resident well-being.
- Lead staff in delivering the highest standards of clinical governance and person-centred care.
- Support residents with mobility and continence needs, using appropriate aids and equipment.
- Ensure personal hygiene needs are met consistently.

Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing and support staff, ensuring continuity of high-quality care.
- Exemplify clinical governance principles in day-to-day operations.
- Oversee sickness management, staff training, and performance coaching.
Stakeholder Communication
- Foster empathic, collaborative relationships with residences, their families, and colleagues.
- Represent the team in engagement with visitors, relatives, and external partners (e.g., CQC).
Regulatory & Compliance Awareness
- Maintain familiarity with CQC standards and the Health and Social Care Act 2008 to ensure legal compliance.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ/QCF Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care is mandatory.
Preferred/Pe olun experience
✔ Experience in Residential Care Management in a dementia care setting ✔ Mandatory knowledge of CQC core standards, operating protocols, and person-centred care cer".* ✔ Proven ability to train/supervise teams and deliver coaching/mentoring. ✔ Experience in understanding health/social care needs e.g., continence support. ✔ Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with residents/families.
