Role: Registered Home Manager

Location: Derby

Salary: £49,159 per annum, plus access to the Children's Home Managers bonus scheme which offers an opportunity to earn an additional £10,000 per year.

Since opening our first home in 2007, Homes2Inspire - Shaw Trust has grown into the UK’s largest charity-owned provider of residential children’s homes. Today, we operate 57+ homes, supported accommodation, and high‑needs foster care services – with exciting plans to expand even further in 2026!

Homes2Inspire, in partnership with Derby City Council, are seeking a dedicated and resilient Registered Manager to lead a new two bed home in Derby. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a lasting difference in the life of vulnerable young people. We are looking for a manager who can confidently navigate high pressure situations and someone who is ready to throw themselves into the role, see the long-term goals for the children and young people, and lead a team with compassion and clarity.

This home will provide care and support for medium-risk children and young people with complex needs, offering safe, nurturing environments that transform outcomes.

🏠 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a service providing care for 2 young people with complex needs.
  • Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Build and inspire a strong, resilient team that embodies Homes2Inspire’s values.
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive cluster of homes, sharing best practice and leadership.
  • Shape services with autonomy, ensuring children and young people receive tailored, high-quality support.
