Home Manager at Mahogany Nursing Home, Wigan
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Home Manager to lead our team at Mahogany Nursing Home, in Wigan. Naturally, it is important you share our Company Values of Family, Honesty, and Respect. Whilst we are a large organisation with ambitious growth plans, we still very much have a family feel. We are honest in all of our communication together with having the utmost respect for all of our colleagues.
The Home Manager will oversee the daily operations of a nursing home located in Wigan. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing staff
- Coordinating long-term care plans
- Overseeing budgets
- Fostering a supportive environment for both residents and employees
- Implementing training programs
- Ensuring the facility operates in alignment with the organisational values of family, honesty, and respect
Qualifications
- Experience in managing a Nursing Home and the day-to-day operations
- Expertise in Elderly Care practices to ensure high-quality resident support
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management for efficient resource allocation
- Ability to lead and conduct training programs for staff development and compliance
- Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
- Relevant experience in the care sector, with an understanding of the complexities of managing elderly care facilities
- Qualifications: A recognised management or healthcare-related certification is essential. NMC Pin advantageous.
