Position: Registered Care Manager
Location: Thurrock, Essex
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Care Manager to lead our domiciliary care service in Thurrock. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader who is committed to delivering outstanding, person-centred care while driving quality, compliance, and business growth.
As the Registered Care Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring it operates in line with all regulatory requirements and consistently delivers exceptional care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as the Registered Manager and maintain full regulatory compliance.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of care coordinators, supervisors, and care staff.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, compassionate, and person-centred care.
- Monitor and improve service quality through audits, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and support staff to maintain high standards of care.
- Manage care packages, staffing levels, and operational performance.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities.
- Oversee safeguarding, risk assessments, complaints, incidents, and quality assurance processes.
- Manage budgets and contribute to the commercial growth and sustainability of the service.

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Care Manager or Deputy Manager within domiciliary care.
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and relevant health and social care legislation.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to complete if required).
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Right to work in the UK.
