Registered Nurse Home Manager – Glasgow

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse Home Manager to lead our care home in Glasgow.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader who combines outstanding clinical knowledge with the ability to inspire people, drive quality and create an exceptional home for residents, relatives and colleagues.
As Home Manager you will have overall responsibility for the operational, clinical and commercial performance of the service, ensuring residents receive safe, effective and person-centred care while maintaining full compliance with Care Inspectorate standards.
We are seeking someone who:

What You'll Be Responsible For
Leadership
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care.
- Create a positive, open and accountable culture.
- Coach and develop unit managers and nursing staff.
- Promote staff engagement, wellbeing and retention.
Clinical Governance
- Maintain high standards of nursing care.
- Ensure safe medication management.
- Lead audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor clinical indicators including:
- Falls
- Pressure sores
- Wounds
- Infections
- Weight loss
- Ensure robust safeguarding and risk management practices.

Quality & Compliance
- Ensure continued compliance with Care Inspectorate standards.
- Prepare for inspections and oversee action plans.
- Maintain accurate governance systems and policies.
- Drive continuous improvement through:
- Audits
- Resident feedback
Operational Management
- Manage occupancy and referrals in partnership with the leadership team.
- Oversee staffing levels and workforce planning.
- Manage budgets responsibly while maintaining high-quality care.
- Monitor agency usage and improve workforce stability.
- Build positive relationships with:
- Local healthcare professionals
- Community partners
Resident Experience
- Champion person-centred care.
- Build strong relationships with:
- Residents
- Families

- Resolve concerns professionally and promptly.
About You
You'll be an experienced leader who enjoys developing people as much as delivering excellent care.
Essential
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration.
- Previous experience managing a nursing care home or as an experienced Deputy Home Manager, ready to step into a Home Manager role.
- Eligible to register (or already registered) as a Manager with the Care Inspectorate.
- Excellent knowledge of Scottish Health & Social Care Standards.

Desirable
- Leadership qualification (ILM, SVQ Level 4/5 or equivalent).
