An exciting opportunity has become available to lead a well-established nursing home in Helston. Following extensive restoration, this service is preparing to welcome residents once again, and we're looking for an exceptional leader to drive its next chapter of success.
Package
- Salary of £61,920 - £65,000 depending on experience

This is far more than a day-to-day management role. You'll be responsible for building occupancy, leading a high-performing team, maintaining outstanding standards of care and ensuring the home becomes the provider of choice within the local community.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will take full operational responsibility for the home, ensuring exceptional care delivery whilst achieving commercial and operational objectives.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Leading the successful ongoing development of the service
- Driving occupancy through excellent stakeholder relationships and local networking
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Creating a positive, supportive and high-performing culture for your team
- Delivering person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence and choice
- Managing budgets, financial performance and key operational KPIs
- Providing clinical leadership and promoting best practice throughout the home
- Ensuring the service consistently meets and exceeds CQC standards
- Leading recruitment, development, supervision and performance management of staff
- Overseeing infection prevention and control within the service
- Maintaining excellent relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and external agencies
- Championing continuous improvement across all aspects of the home

About You
We're looking for a confident and commercially aware leader who combines excellent people management skills with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional care.
You'll Ideally Have
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within an elderly care or nursing home
- A proven track record of improving occupancy and driving business performance
- Strong financial and commercial awareness, including budget management
- Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing CQC compliance and quality standards
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- A recognised care management qualification (ILM, RMA or equivalent) is desirable
- NMC registration is desirable but not essential
