Safer Hand Solutions are proud to be partnering with a well-established Children's Residential Care Home in Shropshire to recruit an experienced Registered Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a warm, welcoming, and child-centred service supporting children and young people with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Sensory Impairments. The home has a committed staff team and a clear vision for the future, and is seeking an exceptional leader to drive quality, occupancy, and outcomes for the children in its care.
We are looking for a compassionate, resilient, and experienced Registered Manager with a proven track record in Ofsted-regulated services. This role is ideal for someone who leads with both their head and heart; a manager who can inspire teams, drive improvements, and create an environment where children can flourish.

The Opportunity
This is a turnaround leadership role within an established service, offering the chance to make a genuine and lasting impact. You will be responsible for providing strong leadership, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and overall management of the home.
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated care team.
- Drive service improvements and promote a positive culture.
- Maintain excellent safeguarding and care practices.
- Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies.
- Deliver positive outcomes for children and young people with complex needs.
About You
- Registered Manager experience within a Children's Residential Care setting.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and inspection requirements.
- Proven experience of improving service performance and quality standards.
- Experience supporting children with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and complex needs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Passionate about making a difference and achieving the best outcomes for children.
