Join us in transforming children’s lives at Bristol City Council’s Residential Children’s Services.

We are seeking for a dedicated and passionate Registered Manager to join our committed and supportive team and lead one of our new built homes in north Bristol area.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within our service. We have reprofiled our homes into smaller, more nurturing environments, enabling us to deliver high quality therapeutic care. Our approach is underpinned by a robust matching process and a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children.

  • All six of our current homes are rated “Good” by Ofsted.
  • Our services benefit from strong staffing levels, excellent retention rates, and we do not rely on agency staff.

We offer a comprehensive induction and training programme to set you up for success, alongside a high level of managerial support to help you maintain outstanding professional standards. Our senior leadership team is dedicated to promoting a reflective, learning culture across all homes.

We are particularly interested in candidates who are passionate about embedding a therapeutic and trauma-informed approach in their practice, creating safe, stable, and nurturing environments where children can thrive.

We welcome applications from experienced Assistant Managers in residential children’s homes who are ready to progress, as well as established Registered Managers with a strong interest in developing therapeutic care.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
