Join the Team at Tydfil House in Abergavenny as an Experienced Registered Manager
Lead and develop the services to deliver specialist care.
You will be working 37.5 hours a week at Tydfil House. Tydfil House is a specialist residential step-down care in Abergavenny. Tydfil House is a warm and supportive four-bed residential home in the heart of Abergavenny, designed to help adults step-down safely from hospital settings into community life. Our focus is on co-produced, person-centred rehabilitation that supports each individual to lead a meaningful and independent life.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will have overall leadership and management of the service, developing close working relationships with the community multi-disciplinary teams, and other external stakeholders and be responsible for the delivery of excellent care and operational performance, whilst continuing to develop commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers.
Requirements
You will have previous experience from the NHS or private care as a Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) or a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), with an excellent record of leadership and management responsibilities.

As the Registered Manager, You Will Be
- Ensuring both quality and financial targets are met, and facilitating the development of quality healthcare services, ensuring that they respond to the changing needs of purchasers and clients, and also reflect market trends and evidence-based practice
- Being a member of the management team, you will contribute to the strategic development of the care home, ensuring adherence to Elysium’s objectives and business plan
- Promoting and enhancing Elysium Healthcare reputation for high-quality outcomes for service users

To Be Successful as Registered Manager, You Will Need
- An excellent track record in a management role within the healthcare sector,
- An understanding of mental Health & Learning disabilities and a passion for improving clinical quality and service user care
- Strong commercial acumen, to support successful service delivery and development, people management, budget control, business development, and revenue generation
- An inclusive and supportive management style balanced with strong leadership
- To have a valid NMC pin
- At least 5 years or previous experience as an RNLD or RMN
- Experience as a Registered Manager
