Children's Registered Manager

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children's Registered Manager to join its client’s team, based in Bradford.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a Good-rated Ofsted Children's Home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, safeguarding, welfare, and support for children and young people. The role involves leading and developing a staff team, promoting positive outcomes, and supporting children’s physical, emotional, psychological, and social development within a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager and with the support of an Assistant Manager, you will effectively and efficiently manage a Multi-Building Registration.
  • Responsible for the leadership, management, and operation of your service, supporting children and young people.
  • Through your positive outlook and ability to see beyond behaviours work towards the progression and development of the children we look after.
  • Set the operational direction and organise the effective running of the service to meet its statement of purpose.
  • Mentor and support residential support workers to be the best they can be.
  • Work in partnership with external agencies.

Benefits

  • Bonuses: Bonus of 10% of salary reviewed annually, £2,500 on call bonus (approx. 10 weekends per year) and Attendance allowance £1,400.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role you must have;

  • A Level 5 in Leadership and management ( Children and Young People).
  • Good knowledge around Children’s Homes regulations (2015), Children’s Homes Regulations including the quality standards.
  • At least 3 years’ experience within a children’s residential homes and 1 years’ experience at a Senior level.
  • A Full UK driving licence.
