Registered Manager

Adult Residential Registered Manager – Tigh Coilean, South Hykeham, Lincolnshire

Salary: £44,000 (depending on experience)

About The Role

We are seeking an exciting new Registered Manager for our Adult Services team to lead and inspire a care team in Tigh Coilean, South Hykeham, Lincolnshire.

As the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in supporting young adults with complex needs, ensuring their health, welfare, and fulfilment. This demanding yet rewarding role allows you to make a lasting, life-changing impact on the lives of those you support.

The position is fully independent under the guidance of the Area Manager, providing you with significant responsibility and autonomy.


About The Position

You will:

  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of safeguarding and high-quality care.
  • Hold overall operational responsibility for the residential site.
  • Manage property administration, accounts, and expenditure.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor resident care plans, collaborating with external professionals, agencies, and families.
  • Empower and support the care team to promote independence in and beyond the home.
  • Conduct performance reviews and supervisions with senior team members.
  • Organise engaging activities, trips, and short breaks for residents.
  • Efficiently prioritise and organise workloads.

What Will You Do?

  • Work independently to safeguard residents at all times.
  • Lead staff to deliver innovative, exceptional care.
  • Drive care plan development and accountability.
  • Ensure a therapeutic and nurturing environment for residents.
  • Foster team growth and empowerment around residential independence.

About You

Essential Requirements

  • Level 5 Qualification in Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care (or equivalent/working towards).
  • Proven experience in working with adults with severe learning difficulties and complex needs.
  • Strong ability to manage, motivate, and develop a care team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable adaptability and flexibility.
