DUAL REGISTERED MANAGER Derbyshire | FLEXIBLE WORKING DAYS |

Very Competitive Salary + Ofsted Performance Bonus + Thrive Together Benefits

HELP BUILD SOMETHING EXCEPTIONAL

At Clan Care, we're building communities where children feel they belong, adults feel supported, and futures are shaped with care, ambition and belief. We provide therapeutic residential care for children and young people who have experienced adversity and need stability, belonging and hope.

Our name was chosen carefully. A Clan is more than a group of people—it's a family connected by shared values, trust and mutual support. That's exactly the culture we're creating.

We believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued and supported by people who truly care. We also believe the wellbeing of our team is inseparable from the wellbeing of the children and young people we support, and this belief shapes everything we do.

We're an ambitious new organisation with exciting plans to grow across England and Scotland. This isn't just another Registered Manager role—it's an opportunity to become one of the founding leaders of a business where your ideas, leadership and ambition will genuinely influence our future. This role will particularly suit you if you have future Area Manager/RI aspirations.

If you're looking for somewhere you can make a real difference, develop your career and be part of building something special from the very beginning, we'd love to hear from you.

THE ROLE

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead two therapeutic solo children's homes located close together in Derbyshire.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is a full-time role with flexibility around your working pattern. We believe great leadership is about outcomes rather than clock-watching, so your working days don't have to follow a traditional Monday to Friday pattern.

Working closely with our senior leadership team, you'll have the autonomy to develop outstanding homes, build an exceptional team and create an environment where children can feel safe, secure and able to thrive.

As Clan Care grows, so will the opportunities for progression into senior operational leadership roles.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Leading the day-to-day operation of two therapeutic solo children's homes.
  • Creating stable, nurturing homes where children and young people can flourish.
  • Recruiting, developing and inspiring a high-performing team.
  • Embedding a therapeutic parenting approach throughout the service.
  • Ensuring outstanding safeguarding practice and full regulatory compliance.
  • Building excellent relationships with Local Authorities, families and partner agencies.
  • Overseeing care planning, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • Driving outstanding outcomes for children and preparing the homes for excellent Ofsted inspections.

ABOUT YOU

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager who is ready for the next step.
  • A proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • An excellent understanding of children's residential care, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or be working towards it.
  • Strong organisational, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
  • A full UK driving licence.
