Registered Manager – Children’s Residential EBD
Location: Bradford area
Salary/package: Up to £73,808 + bonus package + on-call payments
We are supporting a highly regarded national children’s residential provider with the recruitment of an experienced Registered Manager for a 7-bed children’s EBD home in the Bradford area.
This is a busy, full-occupancy home with a good and consistent staff team already in place. The service supports a mixed group of boys and girls aged approximately 9–16 and benefits from a highly bespoke model, including on-site education through an integrated learning centre and a full clinical team wrapped around the home.
The home has previously achieved an Outstanding Ofsted rating and is currently rated Good. The provider is looking for a confident, experienced Registered Manager who can bring stability, strong leadership, and high standards, with the ambition to drive the home back towards Outstanding.
Package
The role offers an excellent overall package, including:
- Salary/package advertised up to £73,808
- Base salary dependent on experience and home size
- 30% long-term incentive bonus accrued annually
- Bonus potential linked to Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
- Additional on-call payments
- Weekend on-call payments: £80 Friday, £100 Saturday, £100 Sunday
- 7 weeks’ holiday

The Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the home, ensuring children feel safe, supported, and able to thrive. You will lead and develop the staff team, maintain high standards of care, oversee Ofsted compliance, and work closely with the wider education and clinical teams.
This role would suit a strong children’s residential manager who enjoys leading a busy service and wants to work within a provider that offers genuine infrastructure, training, coaching, and development.

Requirements
- Previous experience managing within children’s residential care
- Strong EBD / SEMH experience
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements
- Confident, stable, and resilient leadership style
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a staff team
- Commitment to high-quality, child-centred care
