Registered Manager – Therapeutic Children's Homes
Location: Camberley, Surrey
Salary: Circa £65,000 per annum
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and values-driven Registered Manager to join a highly respected therapeutic children’s care provider. This unique role spans responsibility for two children’s homes, offering the chance to lead services dedicated to healing, recovery, and life-changing outcomes for children affected by trauma.

The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will:
- Hold overall responsibility for the effective operation of two children’s homes
- Ensure full compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
- Lead and embed a therapeutic, trauma-informed culture across the service
- Oversee safeguarding practice, including notifications, investigations, and escalations
- Manage, support, supervise, and develop staff teams to the highest standards
- Lead on quality assurance, audits, and continuous service improvement
- Oversee care planning, ensuring children’s voices remain central
- Manage Budgets and resources effectively for sustainability and value
- Develop strong relationships with local authorities, families, education providers, and partner agencies
- Drive positive outcomes for children across education, wellbeing, independence, and emotional development
- Ensure services remain inspection-ready and aim for Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes

About You
We seek candidates with:
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (or equivalent)
- A relevant degree-level qualification
- Minimum two years’ experience in children’s residential care
- At least one year in a leadership or management role
- A strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children’s residential legislation
- Experience managing budgets, quality assurance, and service development
- A genuine passion for therapeutic and trauma-informed care
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- A creative, resilient, and child-centred approach
- A full UK driving licence
- Enhanced DBS clearance
