Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home
Passionate and Experienced Registered Manager Needed – 2-Bed Children’s Residential Home, High Wycombe
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead our brand-new 2-bed children’s residential home in High Wycombe. This is a unique opportunity to shape a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where every child can thrive.
In addition to the advertised salary, we offer:
- A Golden Hello payment of £2,125 after one year’s service
- Relocation packages of up to £8,000 for those relocating to Buckinghamshire
About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overall leadership and management of the residential home
- Ensuring compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations, Ofsted requirements, and Buckinghamshire Council’s Statement of Purpose
- Leading a dedicated care team to drive high standards of care and safeguarding
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day operations and ensuring highest quality care
- Leading, supervising, and developing staff towards outstanding outcomes
- Overseeing budgets and resources with strong financial management
- Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to promote positive outcomes for children
- Ensuring adherence to all legal and regulatory standards
This role requires strong leadership, a deep passion for children, and a commitment to making a real difference.

About You
We are looking for an experienced leader with:
- Level 5 Children’s Residential Management qualification and at least two years of residential management experience
- Expert knowledge of current legislation, regulations, and best practice in children’s residential care
- Excellent communications, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- A ‘can-do’ attitude, resilience, and the ability to inspire and motivate staff
- Flexibility to work unsocial hours when needed and travel across the county
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
