About the Role
We’re looking for a thoughtful, service-focused Registered Manager to join our team in Greenwich.

- Lead support and care teams specialised in learning disabilities and autism, ensuring every individual receives the right support to thrive and meet CQC (Care Quality Commission) standards, regulatory expectations, and Choice Support policies.
- Collaborate with Deputy Registered Managers and Team Leads to deliver outstanding care, continuously improving services to reflect the choices and needs of those supported.
- Guarantee all services meet CQC compliance, taking responsibility for preparing for inspections while driving timely improvements.
- Ensure personalised support builds independence, fosters family connections, and empowers individuals to achieve their goals—handling health, medication, and finances securely, in line with the Mental Capacity Act.
- Cultivate a supportive team culture, where everyone’s contributions are valued, under the guidance of the Deputy Registered Manager and Team Manager.
- Support the Deputy Registered Manager’s development, preparing them to step into your role through training and feedback while you’re absent.
- Oversee recruitment, inductions, and staffing to maintain safety across services, with competitive management of rotas, budgets, and financial sustainability.
- Be the central point of contact—providing clarity to both internal and external partners, managing enquiries, and chairing visits or assessments.
- Maintain accurate, person-centric records, ensuring incidents are documented, investigated, escalated when necessary, triaged, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Act as the safeguarding lead, committing to protecting everyone from harm.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
