Overview
Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a national provider within Residential and Supported Living care, who offer support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, and mental health needs to recruit a Registered Manager to oversee their established Residential service based on the outskirts of Mansfield.
The service supports adults with learning disabilities and autism.
The Candidate
As the Registered Service Manager, you will be reporting to the Area Director, and you will have overall responsibility for overseeing the 9-bedded residential service.
You will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the service, including the leadership and management of the staff team and continuous collaboration with the company’s quality team.
You will be overseeing the efficient delivery and development of the service whilst working closely alongside the Area Director, where together you will ensure the service users receive the best care.
You will possess a deep working knowledge of health and social care, CQC, and you will also be required to have strong people management and communication skills, a values-based approach as well as sound commercial understanding.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for the role is £40,000 to £43,000 per annum plus many other benefits including:
- Discretionary 10% annual bonus scheme
- 26 days’ annual leave rising with length of service up to 30 days (plus bank holidays)

Essential Criteria
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a similar setting
- Background of working with adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations
- Strong people management skills, communicator, team player
- Clear DBS
Location
This role is based in the outskirts of Mansfield, commutable from Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield, Long Eaton, Ilkeston, Sutton-In-Ashfield, Kirkby-In-Ashfield, Matlock, Burton Upon Trent, Newark on Trent.

Interview Process
The interview process involves 3 stages.
- 1st Stage: Face to Face at the service held with the Area Director
- 2nd Stage: 30 minutes MS Teams call held with the People Director or Head of People and the Managing Director.
- 3rd Stage: Final stage and is more of a formality than an interview. Will include a 10-minute chat with the CEO to go over the role and a chance for you to ask any questions.
