Registered Manager & Growth Lead
Location: Northern Ireland | Salary: £45,000–£60,000 + Bonus | Bonus: Performance-Related Bonus + Profit Share
About the Opportunity
This is not a maintenance role. We are looking for an entrepreneurial Registered Manager who can help build and grow a high-quality domiciliary care business from the ground up. We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager with established relationships across Health and Social Care Trusts, commissioners, discharge teams, social workers, care coordinators, and private referral networks. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing the service, securing new clients, recruiting care staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and establishing Harley Jai Care as a trusted provider across Northern Ireland.

• Successfully register and maintain RQIA compliance • Build a stable and reliable care workforce • Establish strong Trust stakeholder relationships • Secure new care packages and referral streams • Develop Harley Jai Care into a recognised Northern Ireland provider • Contribute to sustainable profitability and growth

Essential Experience & Skills
We are looking for someone who has:
• Successfully managed a domiciliary care service for at least 3 years • Built relationships with Trusts and key referral sources • Increased client numbers and care hours • Won new care packages • Developed private client revenue streams • Achieved excellent RQIA compliance outcomes
Key Responsibilities
Service Development & Growth
• Develop and implement a strategic growth plan • Build relationships with Trust commissioning teams • Generate new business in Trust-funded and private markets • Increase care hours and service-user numbers
Regulatory Compliance
• Act as Registered Manager in accordance with RQIA requirements • Lead inspections, audits, and quality assurance activities • Maintain policies and governance frameworks • Ensure full regulatory compliance
Operational Leadership
• Oversee day-to-day domiciliary care operations • Manage rotas, staffing, and resource allocation • Monitor KPIs and service performance • Ensure safe and effective care delivery
Recruitment & Workforce
• Recruit and develop a high-performing care team • Build a culture of quality and compassion • Ensure appropriate training and supervision • Reduce staff turnover through engagement

Financial Management
• Manage branch performance against budgets • Monitor profitability and utilisation • Support pricing strategies and growth • Ensure efficient resource deployment
New Service Opportunities
• Domiciliary care and complex care services • Live-in care and dementia care • Hospital discharge services • Private-pay client services
Essential Qualifications
Applicants must meet RQIA requirements for a Registered Manager position and hold one of the following: Registered Social Worker – Current NISCC registration.
Allied Health Professional – HCPC registered with a minimum of 4 years' relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care – Minimum 5 years' relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
