Role: Registered Manager
Location: London
Salary: £65k
Job Type: full time
Essential Criteria
- At least 2 years’ experience of working with children/young people with emotional, behavioural difficulties within a residential setting or related experience.
- At least two years’ experience of managing, developing, and supervising staff.
- Possess level 3 Diploma in working with children and young people in a residential setting.
- Possess level 5 Diploma or equivalent or be willing to work towards a relevant management qualification.
- Excellent understanding of the needs of the children/young people who require care and support and the provision of residential services in line with best practice.
- Excellent understanding of the principles of high-quality person-centred care and support and non-discriminatory care practice.
- A firm understanding of the regulatory responsibilities of a Registered Manager and the law relating to residential care services.
- Understanding of systems to maintain confidentiality in relation to children/young people, adults, and the business.
- Knowledge of health and safety matters in relation to residential services and risk management.
- Knowledge of how to recognise abuse and safeguarding procedures which are to be followed at all times.
- Good administrative skills and computer literacy.
- Ability to maintain clear written and electronic records and to follow statutory and company reporting procedures.
- Ability to plan and organise workloads effectively, utilising support resources as required.
- Possess a full driving licence.
