Role Description
The Registered Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bury and covering sites around the Northwest.
They are responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational management of the Northwest provisions.

The role includes overseeing support delivery, ensuring that safeguarding, regulatory, and quality standards are consistently met, and maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and inspection frameworks.

The Registered Manager will manage and support staff, including supervision, performance reviews, and training, while fostering a positive, inclusive, and child-focused culture.
Key tasks include:
- Developing and implementing support and safety plans
- Monitoring outcomes
- Managing budgets and resources
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting
- Liaising with external stakeholders such as local authorities, families, and professionals
- Leading continuous service improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience within children’s supported Accommodation or social care settings, including staff supervision and performance management.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks relevant to children’s services.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and partnership-working skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and external professionals.
- Proven ability in service planning, risk assessment, report writing, and maintaining accurate documentation and records.
- Experience in budget management, resource allocation, and operational problem-solving within a care or social services environment.
- Relevant professional qualification in social care, childcare, or a related field (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent).

- Willingness to undertake ongoing professional development and training, and flexibility to meet the needs of the service.
