Registered Manager - Discharge to Assess

Location: South Ayrshire with travel around the area
Salary: £31,262 to £31,991 per annum per annum
Hours: 35 per week
Contract: Permanent

Additional Requirements:

  • Applicants must have a full licence (2 years) and access to a vehicle. (Business mileage reimbursed)
  • Successful candidates will be required to register with the Scottish Social Security Council (SSSC) within 3 months of starting.

What will a day in the life of a Registered Manager involve?

  • Leading the day-to-day running of a regulated Care at Home service.
  • Supporting staff and volunteers through supervision, training, and development.
  • Monitoring service quality, outcomes, and compliance with care standards.
  • Managing budgets, staffing levels, and ensuring person-centred support plans are in place.

To be a successful Registered Manager, what will you need?

  • SVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care and a PDA in Supervision (or equivalent).
  • Experience managing care services, including staff supervision and budget control.
  • Strong understanding of health and social care standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
