Role Description

The Registered Mental Health Counselor will provide remote, evidence-based counseling and support to clients across diverse mental health and relationship concerns. This part-time role includes:

The counselor will collaborate with an AI-driven system for triage and monitoring, and coordinate care with other professionals when escalation or multidisciplinary support is needed. Responsibilities also include:

  • Crisis intervention when appropriate
  • Ongoing evaluation of client progress
  • Adherence to ethical guidelines, privacy regulations, and organizational protocols

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Mental Health and Psychology, with the ability to apply clinically sound interventions across a range of conditions.
  • Demonstrated skills in Treatment Planning and Case Management to design, implement, and monitor individualized care plans.
  • Proficiency in Relationship Counseling, including support for couples, families, and interpersonal dynamics.
  • Active licensure or registration as a Mental Health Counselor (or equivalent) in relevant jurisdiction(s), in good standing.
  • Experience providing telehealth or remote counseling services, with comfort using digital health platforms and AI-supported tools.
  • Excellent communication, cultural competence, and trauma-informed practice, with a commitment to inclusive, non-judgmental care.
  • Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a part-time caseload, maintain professional boundaries, and follow evidence-based guidelines.
