This would be a registered mental health nurse out of preceptorship. Visa must have an expiry of over 12 months.
This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses.
Priory Hospital Stockton Hall is looking to recruit a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the team. This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week.
Priory Stockton Hall is a long-serving medium secure hospital based in a quiet but well-connected village near the historic city of York. It serves the local Provider Collaborative and multiple National Collaboratives, depending on clinical need, and has had a long-running record of successful patient pathways.
What you'll be doing
Join Priory Stockton Hall and be part of a specialist team delivering life-changing care in one of the UK's leading medium secure mental health hospitals.
Working alongside experienced multidisciplinary professionals, you'll support patients with complex mental health needs on their journey towards recovery, independence and a brighter future. You'll build therapeutic relationships, deliver person-centred care and make a meaningful impact every day in a safe, recovery-focused environment.

- This would be a registered mental health nurse out of preceptorship
- Visa must have an expiry of over 12 months
- Flexible over days and nights with the following start and end times: 0725-19:45 Nights are reverse of this
- We are not accepting agencies at this stage
- Shortlisted candidates must be available for the date provided for a professional and patient panel. The date will be after the closing date of the application
Minimum 6 months post registration experience within Mental Health or Learning Disabilities Care Environment, evidence of continued professional development in relevant field
