Full Time | 37.5 hours a week
Priory Hospital Mildmay Oaks has an opportunity for a Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with 6-12 months' post-registration experience to join our team.
Priory Hospital Mildmay Oaks is a specialist in autism and learning disability. Conveniently located in Hook, Priory Hospital Mildmay Oaks benefits from excellent public transport links, including rail and bus services, a peaceful rural setting with access to nearby towns and transport connections and easy access to Located 5 minutes from the M3 and parallel to the A30.
What you'll be doing

- Responsible for delivering prescribed care to a defined group of patients within an agreed framework, assessing, planning, and providing person-centred nursing care in partnership with patients and their families/carers while acting as the named nurse.
- Accurately observes, assesses, and evaluates patients' needs and progress, monitoring and reviewing care plans and responding appropriately to changes in condition.
- Contributes effectively to multidisciplinary team working, participates in clinical and non-clinical meetings, and manages nursing priorities through effective delegation and shift coordination, including acting as nurse in charge when required.
- Maintains professional standards through ongoing development, clinical supervision, reflective practice, and adherence to preceptorship and revalidation requirements.
- Develops positive professional relationships with patients, colleagues, and visitors, responds effectively to concerns and complaints, supports newly qualified staff through preceptorship, and works in accordance with safeguarding policies, the Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, medicines management procedures, organisational policies, and the NMC Code of Conduct.

What you'll bring to the role
Essential for the role
- Minimum 6 months post registration experience within Mental Health or Learning Disabilities Care Environment
- Evidence of continued professional development in relevant field
