Registered Neonatal Nurse ( without 24 hour responsibility)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 post within the Neonatal Team at FVRH. Our level 2 unit provides Intensive; High Dependency and Special Care to newborn babies within Forth Valley.
A first level NMC Registration, recent experience working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and completion of the Neonatal Nurse Quality in Specialty (QIS) certificate are essential for this Band 6 post.
The successful candidate will be a keen team player, have excellent communication skills and display an enthusiasm to promote family integrated care within our Neonatal Unit.
Applicants should display a desire to instill positive changes in the care pathways for the babies and families ensuring the best possible start in life.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. More information on this scheme can be found at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
