About the Role
Registered Nurse – Renal Dialysis Unit at Merthyr Tydfil Dialysis Unit, part of Fresenius Medical Care, is offering:
- Welcome Bonus of £2,500 (taxable) split over two instalments (at probation end and after 18 months, pro rata if applicable).

Key Responsibilities
In this full-time (37.5 hrs/week) role, you’ll:

Provide autonomous' nursing care to patients requiring:
- Hemodialysis (chronic kidney disease or acute kidney injury).
- Clinical assessment, patient education, treatment planning, and evaluation.

Operate within a busy unit (27 hemodialysis stations serving up to 108 patients) in partnership with Cardiff & Vale University Health Board.

Maintain a 1:3 patient-to-nurse ratio (supported by HCAs), covering varied shifts (6.30am–6.30pm), including weekends (no Sundays or night shifts).

Requirements
- Must be an NMC-registered nurse (no sector exclusions).
- Cultural fit, motivation, and aptitude matter – technical skills will develop as you learn.
- Flexibility for shift work includes weekends (not nights).
Enhanced DBS disclosure required.
