Registered Nurse – Bupa Oakcroft House Care Home
Location: Oakcroft Road, West Byfleet, KT14 6JG Hourly Rate: £21.54 – £24.94 (dependent on experience) Contract: 4x 12-hour shifts per week (48-hour contract) Flexibility Required: Must possess flexibility across day and night shifts Additional Benefits: Paid breaks + £1,000 Welcome Bonus

Key Responsibilities
As part of our social care teams, you will:
- Take responsibility for the well-being of residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met safely and effectively.
- Coach and guide colleagues, delivering formal and informal teaching programs to support care providers.
- Conduct assessments, develop and evaluate individual care plans for each resident.
- Monitor clinical environments to adhere to policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Offer clinical guidance to nursing and care teams, contributing to CQC compliance.
- Build trusted relationships with residents and their families, delivering compassionate care.
Additional Key Responsibilities (for Night Shifts):
- Work independently with minimal support.
- Maintain strong critical thinking skills.
- Self-reliance and the ability to handle emergency situations confidently.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- A valid qualification as a Registered Nurse and an active NMC Pin.
- Previous experience in managing care units alongside reporting, assessments, and care plan oversight.
- Proven ability to comply with clinical policies and standards.
- Experience providing clinical guidance to care teams and fostering CQC-friendly environments.
- Enjoying building genuine connections with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Desktop Requirements
- Effective communication skills to allow:
- Clear clinical handovers.
- Collaboration with senior nursing/distinguished health professionals.
- If night shifts are required:
- Strong self-reliance, adaptability, and decision-making in adverse scenarios.
- Ability to manage regulations and documentation independently.
