Job Description: Registered Nurse - Days

Location: Richmond Village, Letcombe Regis, South Street, Letcombe Regis, OX12 9RG

Salary: £23.20 per hour & Excellent Benefits and a Welcome Bonus: £1000

Shifts: 12-hour shifts of 8am - 8pm on days with paid breaks.

Welcome Bonus: Should you be successfully hired into this role, we are pleased to be able to offer you a one-off Starter Bonus of £1000 as a thank you for deciding to join Bupa Care Services. The Starter Bonus will be paid to you in the next available pay run once you have completed four weeks’ service and will be subject to deductions for tax and NI. Ts & Cs Apply.

You’ll help us make health happen by:

  • Taking responsibility for the well-being of our residents, leading a team of Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants to ensure residents’ physical, emotional and social needs are met
  • Carrying out assessments, developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each of our residents
  • Monitoring work areas and practices throughout the day to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies and legislation
  • Delivering clinical guidance to your care team, leading, motivating and mentoring this team to ensure the safe and efficient day to day running of the care home
  • Promoting our resident’s independence, choice and dignity by delivering the very best standards of care and striving for continuous improvement - ensuring a safe and person-centred home is maintained

Key Skills / Qualifications

  • A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and expanding your professional development
  • A positive attitude, energy and enthusiasm which will encourage a supportive working environment
  • Naturally caring with a hands-on approach, having a flair for helping people maintain their independence, choice and dignity
  • An effective communicator who’s able to build strong and honest relationships with residents and the people they care about
  • A passion to coach, guide and support your team, as well as providing formal and informal programmes of training to colleagues and other care professionals
  • A respectful and compassionate team player with the belief in giving your personal best
