Registered Nurse – Edgewater Nursing Home, Sunnydale Avenue
Location: Edgewater Lodge Nursing Home (Sunnydale Avenue)
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our supportive team at Edgewater Lodge Care Home.
- Purpose: Drive the home’s mission of creating a secure, dignified, and caring environment where residents and families feel valued.
- Focus: Deliver high-standard care, supervise staff adherence to policies, and uphold respect and dignity for all clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care aligned with medical and care procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address residents’ physical and emotional needs
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, hygiene, and legislative standards
- Assist with staff supervision, mentoring, and performance evaluation
- Advocate for residents’ autonomy, dignity, and involvement in care decisions
- Liaise with families, doctors, and social workers

Experience & Qualifications

| NMC Registration | Proven experience in geriatric/dementia care |
| 1 year registrations as RN | Strong teamwork and leadership in nursing |

Current version of the role requires a designated Deputy Head of Nursing to cover missed shifts (subject to head nurse approval).
