Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse – Parkview Care Centre

Parkview Care Centre is a welcoming, beautifully decorated, and purpose-built care home specialising in Nursing, Residential and Dementia care for older people. We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our friendly team.

Nursing in a meaningful role? Be part of a team dedicated to providing dignified, fulfilling care that keeps residents as independent as possible while ensuring the very best standards of nursing practice.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will join a supportive and committed team in a pleasant working environment, delivering compassionate care. To excel here, you will need a valid NMC PIN number and a strong understanding of contemporary clinical practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance & Safety:
    • Work within clinical frameworks (NMC and CQC) to maintain top standards.
    • Conduct risk assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans for residents.

  • Direct Care Delivery:

    • Administer medication as required.
    • Provide hands-on support, such as washing, dressing, and nutrition/hydration assistance.
  • Advanced Nursing Practice:

    • Extend your expertise in procedures like catheterisation, venepuncture, IV therapy, and ear syringing.
  • Mentorship & Training:

    • Mentor colleagues and care professionals (both formally and informally).
    • Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.
    • Coach and guide team members to uphold professional standards.

Skills & Requirements

  • Valid NMC PIN (active status required).
  • Commitment to NMC Codes of Conduct—prioritising ethical nursing practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills—building trust with residents, families, and staff.
  • Compassionate, courteous, and attentive nature to meet residents’ needs and dignity.
  • Strong organisational skills—hardworking with precision and the ability to prioritise under pressure.
  • Flexibility—willingness to work varied shift patterns when required.
  • Experience working with the elderly (preferably with those living with dementia).
  • Self-motivated and proactive, eager for professional growth.
