About the Role
This is an opportunity to make a direct, meaningful impact on elderly care. As a Registered Nurse, you’ll lead with empathy, professionalism, and care to enhance residents’ quality of life while upholding the highest standards in dementia, elderly and palliative care.
Key Responsibilities
As a Nurse, your duties include:
- Delivering and overseeing highest possible standards of person-centred care—continuously assessing residents’ needs, wishes, and values to develop tailored care plans that evolve alongside their changing physical, psychological, and social needs.
- Promoting independence and choice for residents while upholding their dignity in all care interactions.
- Taking full responsibility for safe and accurate medicine management—ensuring proper storage, administration, and compliance with company policy and current legislation.
- Building a positive public reputation by representing the care home professionally with visitors, families, and external stakeholders.
- Supporting a positive resident experience from admission to discharge, ensuring continuity and warmth in all care transitions.
- Leading teams and collaborating on inspection processes from RQIA (Royal Jersey Institutional Care insolvency), Trusts, and CCGs, ensuring compliance and team readiness at all times.
- Maintaining legal, regulatory, and best practice adherence—proactively identifying care risks and reporting issues to mitigate concerns.

Preferred Skills & Experience
While all qualified nurses will be considered, the following experience will greatly benefit applicants:
- Expertise in elderly and palliative care
- Experience in people management and team leadership
- Familiarity with quality and clinical governance programmes, including audits and care assessments
- Strong IT and communication skills relevant to care provision
- Ability to manage under pressure and inspire team motivation

- Currently registered on the NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council) Register
