Registered Nurse (Complex Care) – Trowbridge United Kingdom
We are currently recruiting an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our agency team, supporting an individual with complex healthcare needs in their own home in Trowbridge.
This is a part-time agency opportunity, offering regular, ongoing shifts with the potential to progress into a full-time position for the right candidate.
Shift Pattern
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 07:00 – 17:30
- Thursday, Saturday & Sunday: 07:00 – 17:00
Essential Clinical Competencies
Applicants must be competent and experienced in:
- Cuffed Bivona tracheostomy management
- 24/7 ventilation using Nippy 4+
- Cough Assist therapy (Clearway 2)
- PEG feeding via Mickie Button
- Enteral medication administration
- Oxygen administration
- Chest physiotherapy
- Nebuliser administration via oxygen and Aerogen systems
- Manual handling using track hoists
- Supporting an individual who is dependent on an electric wheelchair
- Passive range of movement exercises
- Personal care
- Accurate clinical documentation and record keeping

Essential Requirements
- Current NMC registration with no restrictions
- Full right to work in the UK
- Previous experience in complex care, community nursing, or a similar clinical setting
- Confidence working independently within a home care environment
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to recognise and respond appropriately to changes in a patient's condition
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering outstanding person-centred care
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care within the client's home
- Manage all aspects of the client's complex clinical needs
- Provide tracheostomy and ventilation care
- Administer enteral medications and PEG feeds
- Deliver respiratory therapies, including chest physiotherapy, cough assist, oxygen therapy, and nebulisers
- Support with personal care, positioning, and passive exercises
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
- Work collaboratively with the client, family members, and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Promote dignity, independence, and the highest standards of clinical care
