Are you looking to join a dedicated and caring team who support local patients when they need it the most?
At St Leonard’s Hospice we have a great opportunity for a full time Registered Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team who provide a high standard of skilled, compassionate nursing care and symptom management to patients. You don’t have to be a RGN or have palliative care experience - we welcome applications from RMNs and RNLDs from all backgrounds.
This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who would like to extend and develop their palliative and end-of-life care skills. You will have the opportunity to work with highly skilled staff across our In-Patient Unit, working across a full shift rotation pattern (days, nights, weekends and bank holidays).
This is a rewarding role and our teams go above and beyond with the individualised care they provide to our patients and their families. Therefore, as long as you have a passion for working in Hospice care, we would love to hear from you.
This position is based on our Inpatient Unit and as a Registered Nurse, your main duties will be to:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
