About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and committed Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our excellent team at Bispham Gardens in Blackpool.
This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care for older people within a warm, supportive, and forward-thinking environment.
As a Registered Nurse at Bispham Gardens, you will play a key role in ensuring residents receive the highest standards of clinical care while promoting dignity, independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.

You will work closely with care teams, healthcare professionals, residents, and families to ensure safe and effective care delivery at all times.
Key Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse
- Delivering high-quality nursing care in line with individual care plans and clinical needs
- Administering medication safely and accurately in accordance with NMC guidelines
- Monitoring residents’ physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing
- Supporting and supervising care staff within the home
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation
- Working collaboratively with GPs, healthcare professionals, and families
- Promoting person-centred care and positive resident outcomes
- Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, infection control, and medication management procedures
- Responding effectively to emergencies and changes in residents’ conditions
- Supporting audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement within the service
What We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
- A valid NMC PIN as a Registered General Nurse (RGN)
- Previous experience working within elderly care, nursing home, or care home settings is desirable
- A strong understanding of person-centred care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A compassionate, professional, and caring approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to delivering high-quality care and maintaining clinical standards
- Up-to-date clinical knowledge and nursing practices

About Bispham Gardens
Bispham Gardens is a welcoming and modern 52-bed residential and nursing care home located in a quiet residential area of Blackpool, with an additional 24-room expansion that opened in 2021.
The home provides high-quality care and support for older adults in a comfortable, safe, and homely environment designed to promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
