The Role
As a Registered Nurse at Oakland House, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents. You’ll be working in a close-knit, multidisciplinary team where your clinical expertise and empathy will make a real difference every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents
- Assessing, planning, and reviewing individual care plans
- Administering medication safely and in line with best practice
- Supporting residents with a range of mental health conditions
- Building strong, therapeutic relationships based on trust and respect
- Monitoring physical and mental health, responding to any changes
- Supporting residents’ independence and daily living activities
- Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and support staff
- Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records

What We’re Looking For
✅ Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
✅ Experience or strong interest in mental health care
✅ Compassionate, patient-focused approach
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
✅ Ability to stay calm and confident in challenging situations
✅ Understanding of safeguarding and mental health legislation
