About the Role
We are seeking motivated Register Nurses to join the nursing team within interventional cardiology. The successful candidate will help drive ongoing improvement and provide high quality care to each patient requiring care within the Interventional Cardiology service, supporting the leadership of the Senior Charge Nurse and Charge Nurses.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day to day delivery of high quality patient care within this demanding service.
- Lead the nursing team in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse/Charge Nurses.
- Work successfully within the multi-disciplinary team.
- Provide high quality care to patients in the face of fluctuating service pressures.
- Role model professional abilities to more junior members of the team.

Requirements
- Proven skills or be working towards being able to lead the nursing team.
- Demonstrable experience in providing high quality care under pressure.
- Ability to work successfully within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across internal and external departmental and multi-disciplinary boundaries.
- A positive, inclusive approach and an understanding of the overall service pressures faced by each of those teams.

Work Conditions
