Registered Nurse – Bank Position
Location: Bupa St Mark’s Care Home, 110 St Mark’s Road, Maidenhead SL6 6DN Rate: £22.50 – £24.79 per hour (depending on experience) Contract: Part-time, days or nights bank shifts

You’ll lead by example, ensuring residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs are met with compassion. Your role will include:
- Managing unit operations alongside daily clinical duties
- Overseeing care, including administration and ordering medication
- Developing, reviewing, and evaluating individualised care plans
- Ensuring high clinical standards and compliance with policies/legislation
- Coaching, mentoring, and providing clinical guidance to the team
- Handling CQC inspections and ensuring smooth reporting processes

Key Responsibilities

Resident Care:
- Prioritise well-being and nurture meaningful resident/family connections
- Monitor care areas for safety and compliance

Team Leadership:
- Train and mentor colleagues through formal teaching programmes
- Provide best-practice guidance to support the care team

Clinical Excellence:
- Conduct assessments and empowered evidence-based care planning
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments through ongoing education
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid NMC registration and enhanced DBS check completed
- Proven track record in upholding clinical standards and policies
- Fingers-on experience in daily medication management and plan coordination
- Ability to deliver effective communication, particularly during handover shifts
- Night shift experience preferred/beneficial for self-reliance & crisis management
